The Toronto Sessions was born during the quieter hours of a photographic residency
at the Alliance Française de Toronto in spring 2026.
The series took shape in two stages. First came an instinctive approach to shooting:
following the rhythm of the streets and seeing how the city would respond.
Like walking into a studio with a guitar, a few chords, and the desire to hear what might emerge.
Then came the lith prints, like a bass line. They bring counterpoint, mystery, and texture to the images:
a grand backdrop to the theatre of everyday life.
The Toronto Sessions is a series made for the sheer pleasure of it.
A matter of rhythm, streets, and texture.
Just for fun.
